Who will win Producers Council polls?




All eyes are on the election for Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC), which is happening today. Polling started at 8 this morning, at Kandaswamy Naidu College at Anna Nagar in Chennai.
'Kalaipuli' S Thanu, A L Azhagappan, Mansoor Alikhan, Henry and 'Getup' Rajendran are contesting for the post of president. It is to be noted that T Siva and Radhakrishnan, both belonging to Thanu team, have already been elected unopposed as secretaries.
K S Srinivasan and P L Thenappan are contesting for vice-president posts from Thanu team, while K Rajan and Kathiresan have been fielded for the same positions by Azhagappan team. For the 21-member executive committee, 73 are in the race.

Rana reveals his love



From Kollywood to Tollywood to Bollywood, top actresses were linked with Rana Daggubati. But the hot and happening hero from Telugu cinema says he loves his grandfather, the legendary D Ramanaidu, the most in the world.
"He is more advanced than my dad and when I talk to him, I never feel he is someone from another generation," says Rana, who appeard in 'Arrambam' as Ajith's close friend.
Stating that he is not seeing anyone right now, Rana says, "But I have had my share of relationships." The actor further says he loves children and he wants to get married.


Vijay's dad quits direction

   

With his new venture 'Touring Talkies' getting ready to hit the screens, S A Chandrasekaran has announced that he would not wield the megaphone anymore.
"Touring Talkies is my 69th fim and it will be my last directorial venture," says the father of Vijay, who has played the lead role in the movie besides directing it.
SAC says 'Touring Talkies' will leave his mark in the industry. "The film has two different stories. Ilayaraja's music will be one of the highlights," he adds.



During the audio launch of 'Kumki', Superstar Rajinikanth asked Vikram Prabhu to ensure that three of his movies hit the screens every year, at regular intervals.
Promptly following the words of the 'thalaivar', Vikram Prabhu had 'Arima Nambi', 'Sigaram Thodu' and 'Vellakara Durai' getting released in 2014.
For 2015, he has lined up 'Idhu Enna Mayam' directed by Vijay, a film by N Raghavan and another movie titled 'Waga'. Among the three, 'Idhu Enna Mayam' is nearing completion.
