Celebration time for Thaandavam crew

Director A L Vijay has completedThaandavam shoot with Vikram in the lead.

The film, produced by UTV Pictuires,features Vikram, Amy Jackson, Anushka, Jagapathy Babu, Lakshmi Rai andSanthanam in key roles. G V Prakashscores the music.

The entire unit of Thaandavam including the artistes, light man, camera assistants, art, production, costume assistants and the main technicians were given a party thanking them for their excellent cooperation and support, which enabled the Thandavam team to complete the shoot in in 95 days.

On the occasion, heaping laurels on Vikram, the director says, 'Vikram is a thorough professional.

He is always aware of what is happening on the sets. Once while we were shooting, he stopped in the middle of a shot to alert us about the fading light.

During the auditions in London for junior artistes, Vikram shot their pictures and helped me finalise the cast.'

Anushka plays Vikram’s wife in the film. How they meet, fall in love and get married is wonderful, he adds. 

Several skits and mimicry of what had taken place during the shoot with various individuals were staged by the assistants at the party.
