Rahman joins Singam 2 league

Hold on! Read the headline twice. Are you shocked and surprised? Well, it has got nothing to do with out our Mozart of Madras and Double Oscar winner A R Rahman.

We are talking about Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal fame actor Rahman.

Director Hari has assigned Rahman to do a prominent role in his forthcoming flickSingam 2.

The movie is a sequel to his earlier hit that featured Suriya and Anushka in key roles. The two come together for the sequel too.

Besides Hansika Motwani, Vivek, Santhanam are also in the cast. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad.

Rahman will be playing a pivotal role, Hari said without disclosing much details. Singam 2 will go to floors once Suriya wraps up Maatran.

Hari meanwhile conducted an audition in Chennai recently to select some character artistes for the movie. Sources say that it would be an action-packed entertainer made using state-of-the-art technology.
