Samuthirakani's Nimirndhu Nil goes to floors

Jayam Ravi starrer Nimirndhu Nil, being directed by Samuthirakani went to floors at a function held in Chennai on Thursday. 

Nimirndhu Nil formally kicked off in Chennai at the hoary AVM Studio with a 'pooja' in the presence of some leading lights from the industry.

Amala Paul plays the heroine, whileMeghna raj is also in the cast.

The film is produced by Vasan Visual Ventures Sreenivasan.

G V Prakash is scoring the music for the film. Sources said Among those who took part in the muhurrat include veteran filmmaker K Balachander, director N Lingusamy and producer R B Choudhary.

The Telugu version would have Nani in the lead while two heroines (Amala Paul and Meghana Raj) would be common factors in the two versions.
