Tapasee clarifies Mahat issue

In a bid to end the controversy surrounding her over the alleged brawl between two actors Mahat and and Manchu Manoj, actress Tapsee Pannu today clarified thatManchu Manoj is like her brother and she has nothing to do with Mahat.

A section of the media had carried reports that Manchu Manoj reportedly got into a brawl with budding Tamil actor Mahat Raghavendra and assaulted him over actress Tapsee Pannu.

It is said that Tapsee and Mahat reportedly dated for over a year and broke up a couple of months ago. And of late, it was said that the actress was seeing Manchu Manoj and was staying with him in Hyderabad.

 

Following a complaint by Mahat, a case was registered and police are on the lookout for Manchu Manoj. 

Distancing herself from the entire controversy, Tapsee, who is currently shooting in Kurnool, said in a press release, 'The allegation on me is totally false. I know Mohan Babu (Manchu Manoj's father), Lakshmi (his sister) and Manoj from the day I have entered the industry and they are an important reason behind me being where I am today'.

'They have treated and protected me like a family member. Mohan Babu always treated me like his daughter and I am a like a small sister for Lakshmi and Manoj. So it is only cheap of anyone to link me up with Manoj and get publicity out of it. They have protected me from people who have tried to misuse my name'.

Tapsee further said, 'I always prefer keeping myself dignified by not blaming or pointing at anyone for anything and its unfair of anyone to drag my name and get publicity out of it. I am in no relationship with anyone. I kept quiet all the time before this when I was blamed but now it is crossing the limits of decency. I have nothing to do with Mahat'.
